Happy Learning by riding on the wave of Communication

Krishna(example) studies metallurgy, he learns the basics of the subject by one of the biggest names in the area, Professor Ricard O McLasky(example), who teaches in the North Hamburg University(example), Germany, where he has lived all his life. How does Krishna learns from him then, books? Letters or Journals and Papers published by Mr. McLasky ? No, on the contrary, Krishna talks to and sees his prof. every day! Yes, thanks to Online Learning or Virtual Class rooms.
With the advent of instant communication tools such as phone, tv and internet where you can basically disseminate information from one end of the earth to another in seconds, education has become free from all boundaries and had become more accessible than ever before.
These days educators are using a lot of tools to provide the best learning services like Virtual classrooms enabled by Web conferencing, voice and video chat, webinars : online presentations with a shared whiteboard and discussion window for the participants to question and answer, virtual libraries like Safari and Google books plus blogs in which people share their knowledge with the rest of the world.
Accessibility and ease of learning is not the only advantage, apart from being able to anybody being able to learn from anybody, there are many practical advantages like costs on travelling, printing, classroom venue rents to electricity. Also, you have no limit to the number of people you can let join and the number of hours workshops can run.
Lots of universities and colleges around the world are now taking full advantages of advanced communication tools to make their students learn, do their assignments and take exams without any supervision or observation of instructors as it happened in the past. Students get their assignments via emails, any announcements like classroom timings and last minute changes to tuition schedules via Text messages on mobile. Some institutions go further  to create a website and online workspace which server as both virtual library and students workspace and portal where they can manage all education related activities right from registration to exam preparation to publishing exam results and short listing of candidates for future courses.
To summarize, it would be apt to say that advancements in communication technology has really helped the education sector a lot and students and learners are benefitting alike.

there is nothing like having you to Love...

Something like a million stars,
dancing in the sky,
Something like they chasing me,
every girl passing by,
Something like flying with the birds,
up, above & high and kissing the sky,
But there is nothing like,
Having you to love(2).

You, you're the brightest star in the sky,
you're the brilliance of the sun and
the chill of the moon and
the fragrance of the flowers.

I wish I could always be with you,

Still there is nothing like,
Having you to love(2).

Whenever,
whenver you're passing through hard times,
like everything going wrong,

just let me know if I can do something, if not a lot,
I may just sing you this song,

Because there is just nothing like,
Having you to love(2).

Even if,
even if we don't see each other for the next time,
even if you forget me as if you were never mine,
even if you makeup with him,
smarter and more handsome,
I bet, even he'll affirm that,

there is nothing like..........

Vegetarian just by Diet or a Lifestyle ?

Hi Friends,

We all love animals and all creatures created by Nature, when we speak about being vegetarian, is it just limited to food or we shall also take some time and put some effort to find out whether we are actually vegetarian in all aspects of life.

Be it clothing or medicines or consumar durables, isnt it our duty to never use any product made from animal body as long as possible and also disseminate the informaiton about such daily use items to others and also their alternatives that might help to stop killing of many animals.

Here is a list of common use items that contain some animal part and also their alternatives...

Leather:

Belts, Shoes, Bag, Wallet... you have lots of synthetic alternatives these days, try not to use leather at all

Silk:
Yes silk too is obtained from silk worm and greater demand resulting from ladies' love of pure silk sarees results in poultry farming of silk worm too

Brush:
Toothbrush bristles are generally made from plastic, on the other hand, brushes for painting be it canvas painting or distempar painting are made from hair or mongoose and other animals, dont know what to do about this as we are not direct consumers of these, but while we get new paint for our houses every Diwali and that means killing of lots of innocent mongoose especially found in jungles of Orissa.

Wool
Yes, your favorite woolens are made by brutally scratching off sheep skin and
thus leaving them without the natural cover provided by nature againts weather and harmful insects, they die miserably in the end, use wind cheaters made from Nylon and Cottonwool, also you can try trendy Canvas jackets.

Mayonnaise
I feel no hesitation in putting this as a separate point because lots of ignorant Pure Vegetarians fall down to Ovo Vegetarians by eating delicious burgars of McDonalds and othe such bakerys and food chains which contain mayonnaise which is made from Eggs and few know about it, just like the french fries made from Mutton Tellos, this is something unfair too on the part of food giants like Mcdonalds and Subway.

the India's away from India

Hi friends,

I have just started exploring the shores away from Hind Mahasagar and have learnt to see a complete different India of the N R I 's. I have met some of them, and noticed few things, I am not here to conclude anything yet, also my observations may be wrong, but still, I am presenting some of the first impressions I got after spending sometime out of India.

The NRIs represent an India that they had left when they came here, it would be not so nice to say they don't know India at all or get disconnected from the mainstream of India, but still they lack that up to date knowledge of what is actually happening in India and what India is heading towards these days.

I must affirm one more time that I am not her to criticize anyone or even pass a judgement, these are only my findings. The disconnect of NRIs from the contemporary waves of Indian shores or the new age India happens because of some obvious reasons:

> we seem to not to care about what's happening around us once we leave india, remember those parliament sessions near Paan ki dukaans, we decide whether the government is gonna stay and also advice Sachin how to tackle the out side off stump deliveries... this just doesnt happen among NRIs

> Unlike the recent times when we have every bit of information available over the internet, we still dont seem to consume the news, views and some good articles about the events take place in India, like the stock market rise and fall, politics, business etc.

>We do call our loved ones every week at least once or more than once because of falling rates of calling cards, all we talk is how's life and what you did this week and what is coming up, marriage, job etc, we never ask what's up with our 'Des', true?

>Let me share some of my own discussions with my friends who have been here since couple of years, while I was narrating what is the progress being made and the recent development in infrastructure, IT, telecom and business over all around India in neo-developed cities like Gurgao, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore..., they seem to have surprise a lot more than I actually expected.

That is only one of the aspects of knowledge about events in India, there is lot more that I wish to tell them, like how the Indian mindset is changing, be it career development, marriages, love, consumerism and society as a whole, but for that now I must find some right channel to get up to date with the new age India myself as I am away from Des too and am very likely to become 'just another NRI' !!!

that's it for now, I shall be putting some more finding and things that can be discussed about in the same matter, but this seems to be a long enough article to put a full stop now.
